Hi. I'm Alex (He/Him). I'm a scholar, teacher, and editor in the field of performance and theatre history. I have a PhD in Performance Studies from the University of Maryland, an MA in Theatre Arts from UC Santa Cruz, and a BFA in Dramaturgy from Carnegie Mellon. I have been teaching students for the last decade.I've always been fascinated with how and why we tell stories and what makes a good narrative. I've worked as a dramaturg specializing in new play development, working with theatre companies in Boston and Seattle.I am looking to help you create your best work. I am available as a Copyeditor, Proofreader, Writer, Teacher, and Dramaturg. Whether you are a playwright developing a new work, an academic putting the finishing touches on your next publication, or a game designer looking to create a new world to play in, I want to bring my experience to your project!
